Planning a Private Winery Day
A private winery or food day works best when venues, meals and travel time are paced together. This guide helps you shape a day that stays enjoyable rather than rushed.
How many venues to include
Three to four stops is often enough for a full day once tastings, travel and lunch are included. More venues can work, but only when distances are short and reservations are realistic.
Choose a region and preferred venues first, then build timing around those bookings. Transport should follow the day you want, not force a compressed itinerary.
Reservations, lunch and return timing
Venue reservations usually remain your responsibility unless otherwise agreed. Confirm booking times before the chauffeur itinerary is finalised.
Allow time for lunch and for travel back at the end of the day. A late final tasting can push the return later than expected, especially with regional traffic.
Group size and comfort
Share group size early so the vehicle configuration fits everyone comfortably. Private V-Class travel removes driving and parking between venues, which is often the point of the day.
If the group may grow or split during the afternoon, note the maximum headcount so the plan still works at the busiest point.
